So Solid have announced, the official date of their first UK tour after 10 Years!
The UK’s biggest and hailed the Kings and Queen of Grime, have had their fans in
suspense and anticipated, waiting for the big announcement to be revealed.
So Solid’s first album They Don’t Know was released in October 2001 (followed by a remix album entitled F***It in December 2001). The album went platinum in its first week of sales and the So Solid Crew, is the only urban platinum selling movement in the UK to this date.
The collective from South London, whose hits also include “Oh No (Sentimental Things)” and the number one single! “21 Seconds” lead the collective to win ‘Best British Video’ 2002 at the BRIT Awards. So Solid won at every award show they were nominated in, including the MOBOS, Smash Hits and the PRS Awards.
We can confirm the head members of The So Solid Crew will be performing on the tour with special guest performances to be announced shortly.
The tour’s first show will be held at London’s Indigo O2 on Thursday 21st March 2013
Tickets for this show will be available to purchase Friday 18th January.

A bright and breezy track, Ashley Walters melodic rap-style fits the beat perfectly and is complemented by Alesha Dixon dulcet vocals, which play over the catchy hook. A laid-back love song, Your Love is just a taster of what fans can expect on his upcoming album.
Ashley Walters commented “I am really excited to be working with Alesha. We had fun creating the track in the studio. She has a great voice and brings a different vibe. I wanted us to create something very distinct from my previous work. I always try to write from my own personal experiences and this track reflects events in my journey. It’s about change and moving forward positively. I hope you like it!!”
A household name thanks to his extensive acting career, Ashley Walters is out to show that he’s still got it when it comes to music.
With career highlights including critically acclaimed TV dramas Top Boy, Inside Men, Small Island and Hustle and Hollywood blockbusters such as ‘Get Rich Or Die Trying’ alongside 50 cent and ‘Stormbreaker’ with Mickey Rourke and Ewan McGregor, Ashley Walters has proved time and time again he is a serious threat.
Ashley is joined on the track by UK pop star and long-time friend Alesha Dixon. A familiar-face, the singer and TV personality first came to fame during her time in girl band Misteeq, around the same time Ashley was clocking up number ones as a young MC in UK hip hop collective, So Solid. Since then she has been a regular fixture on TV as a Strictly Come Dancing judge and on the Britain’s Got Talent panel alongside Simon Cowell and _David Walliams.
Ashley Walters shows no sign of slowing down, having recently starred in True Life, a BBC drama by Dominic Savage. As well as pulling no punches when it comes to releasing his music, Ashley will soon be filming Top Boy 2 and producing a film with Noel Clarke.
